Creator Program Terms and Conditions

The rules of the road for publishing guides on SVOYAGER. We keep this short, plain-English, and updated whenever the program changes.

Last updated: April 23, 2026

1. Scope of these terms

These Creator Program Terms (the “Creator Terms”) supplement the SVOYAGER Terms of Service and apply when you create, publish, or distribute content on SVOYAGER as a creator.

By starting a guide on SVOYAGER you agree to these Creator Terms. If you do not agree, do not publish content. The Creator Terms can change as the program evolves; we'll notify you in-product before any change that affects payouts or content rights.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, capable of forming a binding contract in your jurisdiction, and have a verified SVOYAGER account in good standing.

We may decline or revoke participation if your account violates the Terms of Service, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law. We will let you know why.

3. Your content, your rights

You keep ownership of everything you create — text, photos, recommendations, itineraries, and any custom assets. SVOYAGER does not claim copyright on your content.

You grant SVOYAGER a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, translate, format-shift, and display your guides for the purpose of running the platform: showing them to readers, indexing them in search and discovery, sending them in transactional emails, and powering AI features that surface your work to relevant travelers.

You can unpublish or delete a guide at any time. After deletion we'll keep cached or backup copies for up to 90 days for operational reasons (audit, fraud, restoration), then remove them.

4. Responsibility for what you publish

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of everything in your guides. Don't publish anything that infringes intellectual property, defames a person or business, or violates privacy or data-protection law.

If you import content from a link or document, you confirm that you have the right to reuse it. The importer extracts text and structure for your convenience — it does not transfer rights.

Sponsored content and material relationships must be disclosed clearly inside the guide. Use the “sponsored” badge in the editor when a place, hotel, or product paid for placement.

5. Commissions and payouts

When a reader books a stay, flight, activity, or product through a SVOYAGER affiliate link inside your guide, you may earn a share of the commission SVOYAGER receives from the partner. Rates are shown per category in your Earnings tab and may change with notice.

We pay out monthly once your balance crosses the minimum threshold listed in the Earnings tab. Payouts are made through our payments partner; you may need to provide tax and bank information before the first payout.

We hold reserves for cancellations and refunds. If a booking that triggered a commission is cancelled or refunded, the matching commission is deducted from your balance.

Fraudulent activity — self-clicks, click farms, fake bookings — voids the matching earnings and can lead to suspension.

6. Data and privacy

We process traveler data (clicks, conversions, aggregated demographics) so we can attribute commissions and show you analytics. We do not give you the personal contact details of your readers.

If you collect data from your readers (e.g. email signups outside SVOYAGER), you are the data controller for that information and you are responsible for compliance with privacy law (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

7. Suspension and termination

You may leave the Creator Program at any time. Existing guides stay published unless you choose to unpublish them.

We may suspend a guide or your participation in the program if we believe your content harms readers, partners, or the platform. We will explain why and, where possible, give you a chance to fix the issue.

On termination by either side, any commissions already earned and not yet paid will be paid on the next regular payout date, subject to the reserve and threshold rules above.

8. AI assistance

SVOYAGER uses AI to help you draft, summarize, and structure guides. AI suggestions are starting points — you are responsible for reviewing the final published text.

When you import a link or document, the AI may rewrite the source into your guide's voice. You confirm you have the right to base derivative content on that source.

We do not use the private, unpublished content of one creator to train models for the benefit of another creator. We may use de-identified, aggregated signals to improve the platform overall.

9. Changes to these terms

We will give you at least 14 days' notice in-product before any change that materially affects payouts, content rights, or content moderation. Other changes (clarifications, typos, structural edits) may be made at any time and take effect on publication.

The general SVOYAGER Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply to creators. These Creator Terms supplement them; if anything conflicts, the Creator Terms control for creator activity.
